Our Bowling Story
The Herons Glen Mixed Bowling League is a vibrant community of new and long-time bowlers coming together to enjoy the sport. We provide an opportunity for friendly competition, camaraderie and physical activity. The League welcomes bowlers of all skill levels. Join us in the fall on Tuesday afternoons to roll, laugh, and make friends and memorable bowling moments. Complete the adjacent form with your information to join the League and to be included in future communications for the start of bowling activities this fall and winter. If you don't have a recent bowling average, it would be necessary for you to create one. We'd like that by early September as teams will be formed based upon an equal distribution of averages. So, indicate that you need an average in the "Join Us" form and see the section on this page for establishing an average. Also, if joining the league as a couple, please complete a separate "Join Us" form for each person. We are excited to have you join the League!

JOIN US or Inquire about the League
Complete and submit this form to join the League or to request more information. If previously submitted information changes prior to the start of the bowling season, you should submit another form.

New Bowlers must have a bowling average so here's the steps for doing that:
-
To establish your bowling average, you will need to bowl 3 games at Bowlero Coral, 42 Mid Cape Terrace, Cape Coral - 239.599.3333. It's just off Santa Barbara south of Pine Island Road in Cape Coral.
-
Contact Bowlero to arrange a time. Let them know you need to bowl 3 games to establish an average for the Herons Glen League starting this fall. They will let you know the availability and perhaps time to come in. They have many summer leagues and sometimes lanes are scarce.
-
Arrive at the bowling alley and see the employee working at the front desk and tell them you are there to bowl your 3 games for your league average. They may give you a league discount rate - not sure what that is now.
-
Bowl 3 games and then ask the employee at the front desk to give you a form having your just-bowled average. Recommend that you record the scores yourself as well.
-
Please send an email to HeronsGlenBowling@gmail.com to report your average which will be used for establishing teams and initial scoring or give it to one of the officers of the League.
NOTE: To print, go to the "Documents" tab and open the "New Bowlers Average Process.pdf" document.
